Interesting that the two men were together. They had the common bond of a disability and perhaps their feelings about the blindness and healing.  As they followed Jesus they called out to him, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” My understanding of mercy is undeserved kindness. This makes me think they knew of sin in their lives and that their healing involved more that physical eyesight. They needed new eyes and new lives. Thank you for the mercy you have on us, Lord!

Desiring God’s mercy leads us to Jesus and to healing.
